Scope and responsibility
This notice applies to the Lumvise website, waitlist, and browser-based Lumvise Workspace. Lumvise AI Engineering – David Ziegler is responsible for personal data that Lumvise collects and controls through these services.
It is intended for people in the European Union and European Economic Area, Switzerland, the United States, and elsewhere. The GDPR applies where its territorial rules are met; the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection applies where its scope is met.
The browser workspace can also connect directly to services you choose, such as GitHub or an AI provider. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices.
Data we process
Website and security data
Standard request details may include your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and error or security events. Hosting providers may create these records when delivering the service.
Waitlist data
We store your email address, whether you asked for product updates, the time of consent, the signup source, and a one-way hash derived from your network address. The raw address is not stored in the waitlist record. Hidden anti-bot fields and form timing are checked but not retained.
Workspace data
A public repository name or URL is sent by your browser directly to GitHub. Graph archives from GitHub and local .pz files are opened in your browser. Lumvise does not currently upload those archives to its own database through the browser workspace.
Browser settings
The workspace may keep interface settings in browser storage. If you configure an optional browser AI provider, connection settings are stored locally. An API key remains only for the session unless you explicitly choose to remember it, in which case it is stored in your browser until removed.

Waitlist information is optional. Without an email address and required consent, we cannot add you to the list. You can use the public website and browser workspace without joining.
Workspace and services you choose
When you open a public repository, your browser asks GitHub for its public.lv/graph.pzfile. GitHub receives information normally sent with a web request, including your IP address. Repository content travels directly between GitHub and your browser.
When you open a local file, it is read on your device. Current browser-workspace edits are temporary and generally end with the tab. Clearing this site’s browser storage removes locally saved workspace settings and any remembered provider key.
If you voluntarily configure an external AI provider, prompts and selected workspace context are sent directly from your browser to that provider or custom endpoint. Lumvise does not receive the provider key or those requests through its backend. Review the chosen provider’s privacy terms before enabling it, and avoid including sensitive information unless you are authorized to share it.
The workspace does not use solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Analytics and cookies
This site does not use analytics or marketing cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics services. We only record anonymous counts of page views and key actions (such as a download click or a waitlist signup) in our own database — without cookies, IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or any other identifier. These counts cannot be linked to you.
When you open a repository or .pz link, we also store the entered link (for example the public repository name) to understand which projects are explored. It is saved without any information about who entered it.
Because this measurement is fully anonymous, no consent banner is required and there is nothing to accept or decline.
How long we keep data
Waitlist data is kept until you withdraw consent, ask for deletion, or the waitlist purpose ends, subject to limited records we may need to retain to honor your request or meet legal obligations. Security and request records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for service operation, incident investigation, and legal requirements.
Lumvise does not retain repository archives or local files through the current browser workspace. Settings saved in your browser remain until you clear them or the browser removes them. A session-only provider key normally ends when the browser session ends.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal data; receive portable data; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. You may always object to direct marketing.
Send a request to privacy@lumvise.com. We may need enough information to verify your identity and locate your data. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
You may complain to the data protection authority where you live or work, or where you believe an infringement occurred. In Switzerland, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Security, minors, and changes
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Lumvise is not directed to minors under the age of 16 (or lower where local law provides for a different age of consent), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from such minors through the waitlist. If you believe a minor provided personal data, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
We may update this notice as Lumvise and its legal obligations change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice before a material new use of personal data where required.
